Porcelain Body: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, with the exception of two adjacent small shallow flake losses to the underside of the outer rim edge of the cover; some general/light wear/rubbing to the decoration; mounted onto a stepped circular hardwood footed stand; wired (through a hole at the center of the underside as well as through the center of the cover; wiring and socket not tested; lamp was not disassembled for examination; not blacklighted

Shade: there is approximately one area with a large tear to the ivory colored interior lining; there are a few scattered small spot stains to the exterior side of the shade; some light soiling to the interior side of the shade, not of great consequence; shade labeled with tag: KARAHARA NEW YORK
