First edition, second issue with $1.75 price, signed on the title page by Gorey (as "Dogear Wryde"), dated 15 September 1961; Marked No 83 of 212 copies (as are all copies, in a spoof on the limitations often appearing in 19th century erotica). Publisher's wrappers. Very light wear.
Offered with two copies of the 1968 Astor-Honor reprint, unsigned; and a later Dodd Mead reprint, signed. Variously Toledano A7a; A7d; and not in Toledano.
