Queen Anne Red-Japanned and Parcel-Gilt Cabinet on Chest
In two parts, the upper section with molded cornice above a pair of shaped doors with beveled glass doors opening to shelves above candle slides, the waisted lower section with two short over three long graduated drawers, on bracket feet. Height 78 inches (198.2 cm), width 35 inches (88.9 cm), depth 15 1/2 inches (39.4 cm).

Japanned decoration later over a veneered surface, restorations to japanning and parcel-gilt decoration throughout, glass panels to upper section later, probably once with mirror plates, lifting and age cracks to veneers under japanning, later drawer handles, later japanned decoration to cornice, feet later, once fitted with bun feet.
