Wax relined. Generally in very sound condition. Visible craquelure.Touches of restoration at the edges, especially along the left margin. A vertical line of restoration in the sky to repair a central stretcher mark. Touches of restoration to the face, hat and smock of the man in the left foreground; some restoration to the sleeve of the woman to his right, and to the fence post nearby. A few touches elsewhere.
