Bern: (E.W. Kornfeld), 1964. Silkscreened boards as issued, with dust jacket and matching cloth slipcase. 16 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches (41 x 29 cm); 0-(174) pp. (complex pagination); with original lithographs by (in part) Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Sam Francis, Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Jim Dine, Karel Appel, etc. etc. Case irregularly faded, short tear to spine of jacket; some minor finger-soiling.
With a total of sixty-one original lithographs, nearly all of which are in color, this is a seminal and canonical work of Pop Art. Sam Francis edited the book, which was designed by Ting. The lithography is by Maurice Beaudet, and the typography by Georges Girard.
