A very fresh set overall, some very light wear.
Of the many editions of Brinkley's opus, the Emperor's Edition is generally considered to have the best quality prints in terms of tone and quality of coloring. We have compared this with another deluxe edition (the Mikado) and the quality of the photographs is generally significantly superior.
