1950s. Gelatin silver prints, 9 1/4 x 7 3/8 inches (236 x 186 mm) and & 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches (190 x 237 mm), verso with Platt Lynes's hand credit stamp. Print surface in generally excellent condition, one verso dust-soiled. Framed.
A similar pair was recently offered as simply "Young man in doorway" and "Male nude in bed," the Jack Fontan identification is from a gallery label, but this is a generally accepted identification. With Lynda Hyman Gallery.
