frames measure 50 3/4 x 35 5/8 and 51 1/2 x 40 inches, respectively

The Wounded Cuirassier - Scattered craquelure; few patched repaired tears with corresponding area of inpainting including a 3 x 4 inch T-shaped area at top center and another one in the lower left area; scattered spots of inpainting in the sky and the legs of the man.

Charging Chasseur - small patch at the top center with corresponding area of inpainting; scattered craquelure; visible stretcher marks. Difficult to detect further restoration.
