One pearl ap. 11.0 x 12.0 mm., 10 pearls, old-mine & rose-cut diamonds, 2 cushion-shaped rubies, rectangular & fancy-shaped emeralds, reverse with glazed compartment containing hair, c. 1890, ap. 15 dwts. gross.

Pearls: off-white to slightly creamy, several with faint greenish or rose orient, one with a faint seam around the pearl, one with a patch of peeling, medium luster.
Agate chipped at edge next to faint hairline crack, nice carving, good luster.
Emeralds: bright medium light green, slightly to moderately included, several chips at corners.
Rubies: medium pinkish-red to deep raspberry, slightly to moderately included, larger ruby very lively.
1 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches.
