Los Angeles: White Thompson, 1929. First edition, with the "Author & Copyright Holder" stamp of C.H. Remington to the title and also with a Remington's manuscript list of corrections and other information to a front blank (these corrections hand-made within the text). Original gilt stamped cloth. Color map at front, other plates, 20 pp. Some ink bleed from Remington's green pen, ownership signature of Kenneth J. Howard to pastedown, very faint old dampstain to lower edge, very fine overall.
A scarce narrative reporting much of Alaskan interest such as the hanging of Doc Tanner and the Quartz Creek strike. Smith located only one copy (Smith 8601) and no copy at auction.
