Kansas City: Press of Standard Printing, 1912. First edition. Original cloth. 207 pp., frontispiece and portraits after photographs. Minor offset to endpapers, hinges loose, very small stain on rear cover and light shelfwear, fine overall.
Sketches of pioneer life from an author who arrived at "Midway Place," Cameron, Missouri, in 1842. The book contains chapters on the father of Frank and Jesse James, Native Americans, Omaha, an expedition to Laramie, etc. No copy in the auction record.
