Russian Silver-Gilt and Cloisonné Enamel Bowl
Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1908-1917
Oval with bombé sides, on a spreading foot, the sides with handles cast and chased as bear heads, the bowl enameled with shaded varicolored flowers, foliage and pine cones on red and green grounds, the interior engraved with a monogram, further scratched with an inventory number. Width across handles 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm).
Comparable bowls by Feodor Rückert were sold Sotheby's, London, May 31, 2006, lot 443; Christie's, New York, April 18, 2007, lot 261; and Sotheby's, London, November 28, 2017, lot 472.
