New York: G. P. Putnam's, [1893]. First edition, one of 200 copies signed by Roosevelt. Full red morocco by Putnam's (probably a deluxe issue binding) in modern slipcase. 10 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches (27 x 20 cm); 468 pp., index, plates after Frost, Remington, etc., present in the deluxe edition in India proof state. Joints rubbed, spine scuffed upper cover just starting, internally clean. Bookplate of Richard Bayard Dominick.
One of the scarcer of the deluxe editions of Roosevelt's hunting works.
