Robinson's first separate publication. This is Paul Seybolt's copy, and contains two notes written to him by the author's daughter-in-law. Seybolt writes in January 1971 that the sewing is not original: "The present string was in one of the R E R's tackle boxes in the barn at Ferrisburgh. I know - I stole it." With three fables on a fishing theme, including "The Unlucky Bass," The Foolish Fish," and "The Wise and Foolish Pike."
