Additional Notes & Condition Report

Wax relined. The period of this painting is uncertain. Possibly a painting from the 16th or 17th century transferred from panel to canvas in the late 19th century; also possibly a 19th-century work. The varnish layer is dense and the paint surface difficult to interpret. There appear to be scattered areas of restoration and some reinforcement of contours.
