London: Lowndes, 1772. 2nd edition in English. Two volumes. Library cloth. Retains folding map, lacks plates. Ex-library with several stamps, map laid-in, worn. Howes K4; Sabin 36989; Streeter Sale 823; ANBURY, THOMAS. Travels through the interior parts of America. London: Linn, 1791. Second edition. Two volumes. Later half morocco. Folding map and 6 folding plates, facsimiles of colonial currency, half-titles. Bindings worn with losses and detached endpapers, a few splits to plates; and LYELL, CHARLES. Travels in North America. New York: Wiley and Putnam, 1845. First American edition. Two volumes. Publisher's cloth. Hand-colored folding map, single page hand-colored, folding plates (1 colored). The map laid-in, foxing, wear to bindings. The lot not fully collated and sold as is.
Of Revolutionary interest, the Anbury work is rare in any edition and features interesting plates of Burgoyne's camp and army.
