Publisher's dark green cloth. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (21.5 x 14 cm); xvi, 136 pp., 4 pp. ads. Light wear; And LORD, JOHN KEAST. The Naturalist in Vancouver Island and British Columbia. London: Richard Bentley, 1866. First edition. Two volumes, publisher's original cloth gilt. (vol. 1): [ii], [v]-xiv, [ii], 358 pp.; (vol. 2) [ii], [v]-viii, [ii], 376 pp.; 11 plates. Minor binding wear, in all a bright copy with some minor scattered foxing internally. Old name on endpaper.
A trio of works on scarce works on angling in Canada, with an emphasis on salmon. All are quite scarce. The first is Wetzel p. 186; the second p. 173; and the third p. 176.
