Japanese Cloisonné Inlaid Lacquer Dish
Meiji Period
The shallow rectangular form with cut corners, centrally inset with a cloisonne white blossoming chrysanthemum on green and silver leafy stems on a field of gold lacquer within a silver border, the sides with panels of gold lacquer patterning all within a silver band at the rim. Length 7 1/2 inches, width 9 3/4 inches.
