Gene Baro was former director of The Corcoran Museum in Washington, DC, consulting Director of prints and drawings at The Brooklyn Museum and Adjunct Curator of Contemporary Art at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburg. He organized a purported excess of 150 exhibitions throughout his short lifetime of fifty-eight years.

Hinged at upper left and upper right, verso with brown paper tape. The two sheets are glued together along lower edge of top sheet. The collage element at figure's head is torn from the upper left corner of the lower sheet. The paper has handling marks at center left, center right and along top edge. A 1/8th inch stain at upper right.
