. London: William Heinemann, 1923-26. The Manaton Edition, number 358 of 500 signed sets. 30 volumes. Vellum backed boards. Spines soiled, other wear; Together with a large group of signed limited editions by John Masefield, Galsworthy and others, approximately 40 volumes including Masefield's Reynard the Fox (one of 380) and Aniumula, original wrappers, inscribed to Nelson Doubleday; Cecil Alden's Old Inns; and many others such as Richard Aldington. Mostly in vellum backed boards but also including Masefield's Lost Endeavor and Gallipoli in fine inlaid bindings and inscribed to Nelson Doubleday. Generally sound copies although some soiling to vellum as usual, a fine large collection. The lot approximately 70 volumes.
