First edition, two volumes, six plates, a good copy in contemporary half calf with decorative spines of the first full biography of Catherine the Great, published a year after her death; MARMONTEL, JEAN FRANCOIS. Belisaire, Paris: Merlin, 1767, first edition, frontis and 3 plates, nicely bound in later stamped full morocco, a very good copy; MARMONTEL, JEAN FRANCOIS.
