Chinese Doucai Porcelain 'Birthday' Dish
19th Century
The rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot, decorated on the interior with a central medallion depicting a shou character with a peach sheltering a crane, surrounded by a band of ruyi form foliage and scrolling and alternating shou motifs and peaches, the exterior painted with three detached shrubs comprising lingzhi and bamboo emerging from rockwork, base with a Kangxi six-character mark within a double circle. Diameter 8 1/4 inches.
