Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond Ring, Cartier
Centering one square cushion-shaped sapphire approximately 7.11 cts., flanked by 2 old European-cut diamonds approximately 2.25 cts., edged by small old European-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, NY, circa 1930. Size 2 1/2.

With AGL report no. CS 1074010 stating that the sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, no gemological evidence of heat.

Sapphire: bright vivid blue with violet hue, minor inclusions, minor table edge abrasions, several light scratches on table, nice cut, very lively. With
AGL report, Burma origin, no gemological evidence of heat.

Diamonds: G-H-VS, slightly out-of-round, large open culet, several chips at girdle, brilliant; H-I-VS, chip at girdle near prong, large open culet, slightly out-of-round, brilliant.

Diamonds: H-I-VS-SI.

Good condition. Well-made. Cartier NY is engraved on outside center of shank. Width 5/8 inch.
