Fascinating collection of early material from 1857, commencing with two Scott 1's, one pen cancelled, the other with numeral 1 lozenge Cancel, no. 2 on folded letter, no. 11 Mint Block of Four, 1858-64 Perf. 12 1/2 Used 10k (14 with one on cover), 20k (4), 30k one appears Unused and Used (2), with numerous examples of the 1866 to 1909 Arms and Thunderbolt issues mostly Used showing Cancels with a few nice Covers, including a philatelic piece to JM Bartels on Registered Cover, later issues continue sporadically to about 1940 with portrait types Mint with a few Blocks of Four, Used showing different Cancels and a couple of Covers, Provisional issues of 1917 Imperforate and Perforate, 1922 surcharges with Mint multiples, Semi-Postals from 1905 to with Murometz, Hunger issue including Mint Blocks and covers, Air Post with C1 Mint (2), C12 on large cover to Austria, several 1930s issues Used, small selection of Postal currency, some locals along with a useful group of Occupation and Offices, along with a volume of Ukrai, plus approximately forty Russian Bank Notes from the early 1900s, overall condition is Fine to Very Fine. Great collection for the Russian specialist.
