Additional Notes & Condition Report

Partially visible stretcher marks. Scattered craquelure with a few corresponding pinhole-sized losses, especially in the lower right quadrant. Touches of inpaint around the edges; to the man's blue cravat; to the grass beneath the rightmost dog's right paw; and to the leftmost dog's left paw. A few light touches of inpaint elsewhere in the background. Dulling varnish makes it difficult to detect full extent of restoration under UV light. Unexamined out of the frame.

Conservation treatment report (May 2016):
1. Discolored varnish removed from painting.
2. New varnish with BEVA varnish applied.
