Two Chinese Bronze Items
Ming Dynasty and later
Comprising a Buddha seated in dhyanasana dressed in robes with floral hems, the serene face between pendulent earlobes and beneath tightly curled hair; a rectangular-form censer raised on cylindrical legs and set with two loop handles at the rim, base with Xuande six-character mark; Together with a Standing Buddha. Possibly Khmer, dressed in long robes, the hands held in a teaching pose, the serene face below tightly curled hair. Height of seated Buddha 10 inches.
