Chinese Enameled Porcelain 'Rams' Bowl
Daoguang Six-Character Mark and of the Period
Of conical form, resting on a narrow straight foot with gently curving sides, rising to a slightly everted rim, the exterior painted with a pair of horned rams standing between rockwork issuing raspberry red flowering roses, floral sprigs, and a blossoming gnarled prunus tree, with a sheep looking into the distance, inscribed with a poem, base with Daoguang seal mark in underglaze blue. Diameter 5 1/4 inches.
