The square-shaped openwork gold frame with fancy-shaped corners centering 2 round cabochon amethysts approximately 21.0 mm. and 22.0 mm., and 2 carved amethysts, highlighted by scrolled gold leaves set with 58 platinum-set old-mine cut diamonds approximately 2.00 cts., circa 1940, approximately 28.6 dwts.

Cabochon amethysts: medium purple, the larger amethyst with color zoning to side, minor bruise to side, overall cleanish, translucent, very good polish.
Carved amethysts: light purple, cleanish, translucent, very good polish.
Diamonds: I-J-VS-SI, one crown facet chipped, not visible to eye.
Good condition. Normal wear, minor scratches to gold. 2 1/8 x 2 1/4 inches.
