The modified circular panel centering a portrait miniature of four frolicking cherubs amidst blue sky and clouds, edged by scrolled wire set with pairs of rose-cut diamonds and 7 pearls, surmounted by a diamond-set scroll motif tipped by 2 pearls, suspending a graduated knife-edge gold fringe accented by rose-cut diamonds and tipped by 9 pearls, totaling 18 pearls approximately 4.6 to 3.8 mm., with French assay mark, circa 1890.

Pearls: slightly creamy and off-white, circular, slightly out-of-round and drop-shaped, good luster.

Tarnish on reverse of gold panel.
