Additional Notes & Condition Report

Brown paper tape along the edges, recto. Also, tape at upper left, upper right, and top center on verso. The tape on verso has toned the paper, as can be seen from the front. Pinholes at corners and a 1/8" notch at lower right corner. Update as of 10/31/14: As evidenced in Sotheby's catalogue of January 27, 1966, this work is called Composition. The catalogue described the work as "watercolor and ink," and "green / yellow / black." The green and yellow watercolor has faded completely and no color is apparent, but feint traces of the forms can be seen.
