Often working in oils and charcoal, Antony Micallef's expressionist paintings show a reverence to Francis Bacon. His dark, moody work has had major exhibitions at the Tate Britain and ICA London. Micallef is currently part of the Lazarides Gallery stable, alongside other important young artists like Banksy, Faile, and Bast.
