Tibetan Bronze Figure of Vajrapani
Late 16th century
Standing in pratyalidhasana, his raised right hand holding the vajra, the left in tarjanimudra, his cold gilded face with a fierce expression below and urna and between elongated earlobes with circular earrings and beneath red flaming hair. Height 11 1/4 inches.

Small areas of loss to tips of flaming hair. Forehead, just above hair line has a post coming out. Bronze square repair to back of hip. Pigment loss to hair and face.
