Glue relined. Frame rubbing. One vertical repaired tear to the left of center running along the belly of the central monkey (approximately 5 inches long). There is an area of inpainting on this monkey's belly, about 1 1/2 inches square; and another area of inpaint about the same size on the hip of the monkey immediately to this central monkey's right . There is also a 4-inch vertical repaired tear in the background at top center, running from the upper margin down; and another vertical repaired tear two inches long running from the top margin down to just above the head of the monkey shown in profile. The contours of the frame edges have been reinforced.
