UPDATE: During exhibition the painting sustained a small damage to the background to the right of the flower basket above the woman's hand. This is a small Y-shaped tear with some paint loss extending into the right-most leaf.

Stripped relined. Frame rubbing. Three inch horizontal tear and repair with corresponding inpaint in the center left on the left of the woman's head. Another 1 inch circular repair, with corresponding inpaint in the center right on the right of the woman's head. 1 inch L-Shaped tear, repair and corresponding inpaint in the lower center. There are 5 other areas of tears, repairs and corresponding inpaint in the upper left, the largest being 1 inch. No other restoration visible under UV light. Date and particularly "Portielje" signature heavily abraded.
