Additional Notes & Condition Report
Right side of the cabinet is possibly a replaced piece of wood, the finish is very dark with green/grey discoloration making it very difficult to see what type of wood is underneath. The finial and foliate decoration is also very dark with some chips and loss. The rest of the exterior is rosewood. The top interior is pine. The remaining interior is maple and the shelves are pine with maple veneer on the front edge. There is a repair to the top right side, a piece of wood has been replaced and visible reinforced on the inside. Finial has been screwed in. Overall there is flaking to the finish; some small areas of water damage; loss and cracks to the veneer, particularly near the base. Old marks, scuffs and scratches throughout.
