Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Favrile Glass Black Eyed Susan Lamp
First quarter of the 20th century
The domed shade decorated with naturalistic windswept blossoms with semi-translucent yellow colored petals and mottled brown centers against a mottled green ground, opalescent geometric border at the top, applied with a metal tag stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK, supported on three upright arms issuing from a floriform standard decorated with spiral meandering tendrils and continuing to a cushion base ending in scrolling feet, applied on the underside with a metal tag stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 26874, three light sockets, pierced metal cap. Height 21 1/2 inches, diameter of shade 16 1/2 inches.

The shade is in need of repair; it is pushed in on one side and there are a few pieces of glass missing in this area; there are fractures to at least five of the larger glass segments on this side of the shade; cracks to a few of the other glass segments; patina on metal cap is worn; globular element where the three light sockets intersect is missing its cap; lamp has been rewired; sockets are old and match, however they may be old replacements; the chains have acorn pulls.
