Pair of Japanese Inlaid Bronze Vases
Meiji Period, late 19th century
Each of tapering shouldered form rising to a short neck, designed with a raised and incised band of birds among grasses and flowers at the water's edge between songbirds and branches with blossoming flowers extending over the body, inlaid in silver and gold, base signed Ikkodo Bunryo Tokuyoshi with kao. Height 11 1/2 inches.
