First in lot; Engaged in Battle: Lower edge dried with crumbling 1/4 inch into composition. 1 inch tear near upper right corner. Stains and paint lifting at edges. 1 inch tear near upper left corner. Apparent moisture damage at upper right corner. 2 inch tear extends through J of Java. Possible foxing. Colors remain vibrant.

Second in lot; Aftermath: Edges have crumbling. Tear at lower left edge corner extending 1 inch into composition. Extreme left edge missing. 2 shallow tears along lower edge; some areas of loss. Some pigment loss in mastlines of Constitution (right). Colors remain vibrant.
