each appears to be in good condition; no apparent monograms or monogram removal; each (except the dinner knives) is signed either: STERLING BUCCELLATI ITALY or else BUCCELLATI ITALY STERLING; the dinner forks are quite long (8 1/2 inches); the dinner knives have stainless blades and some of the dinner knives are still in their original unopened protective plastic sleeves

Note: according to Replacements Ltd., the French Empire pattern is discontinued; at present, there is no information available indicating when the pattern was introduced and the provenance or history of ownership of this particular flatware service is not known, consequently, it cannot be precisely dated, however, the service probably dates to about circa 1950s or perhaps later
