chip loss to pottery on the underside on the interior edgeof the raised "foot ring" ; otherwise appears to be in good condition; there is two areas of discoloration along the top rim edge that appear to original as made , however they could be the result of previous restoration; there are large burst air bubbles to the exterior glaze, in the making; underside stamped GRUEBY FAIENCE CO. BOSTON, USA and also incised "M.S."
