in three-quarters or full leather, many highly decorated. The collection includes a first edition of Hone's Every Day Book (1830), Painter's The Palace of Pleasure (1813), Ainsworth's Jack Sheppard (1839) in three volumes bound in full yellow calf with intricate tooling by Riviere, and an extra-illustrated copy of Nimrod's The Chace, the Turf and the Road (1837) in a red morocco binding with sporting motifs by Root and Son. Light scuffing to extremities of several volumes, generally in fine condition.
