Sapphires: medium-deep blue, faint cloud zones, few feathers in pavilion, none visible to eye, light abrasions around facet edges, lively.

The Estate of Shermane Billingsley, Heir to the Stork Club Legacy
From the 1930s through the 1950s, the legendary Stork Club stood at the center of New York’s social world, where Hollywood royalty, the wealthy elite, political power players, and international café society mingled under the watchful eye of its charismatic owner, Sherman Billingsley. His youngest daughter, Shermane Billingsley (1944-2023), grew up immersed in the glittering world of the Stork Club and became its devoted historian, spending decades preserving and sharing its legacy. Jewelry from the Estate of Shermane Billingsley offers 35 lots in the Jewelry Online sale, including a pair of whimsical diamond stork earrings.
