Featured in the sale were 17 lots of jewelry from the collection of best-selling mystery writer Jane Stanton Hitchcock. Highlighting the collection was an exquisite pair of natural saltwater and freshwater button pearl and diamond flower clip-brooches by Chaumet, France, that soared past their estimate of $25,000-35,000 to achieve $114,800.
