Fabergé Jeweled Two-Color Gold and Enamel Presentation Pendant

Cartouche-shaped, surmounted with a scrollwork mount centering a flowerhead, with gold suspension loop, the front centering an oval reserve with the Cyrillic monogram NK over a translucent red enamel ground, all above the enameled dates 1893-1896 and 1903-1906, enclosing four pages engraved with facsimile signatures, the reverse centering an enameled inscription in Russian: [To] N.N. Koch from [his] comrades and colleagues of the Okhta Gunpowder Factory. Height 1 9/16 (4 cm.).
The Okhta Gunpowder Factory, founded by Peter the Great in St. Petersburg in 1715, is Russia's oldest producer of gunpowder, explosives and ammunition.

In generally good condition. Light surface wear. Minor cracks and losses to red enamel (lower left). Bottom of one page of signatures has been cut off (visible in catalogue photo).
