(i) Hair line repair at the upper left corner running vertically from the top edge approximately 2 1/2 inches. Craquelure. Wax relined.
(ii) Small loss in the upper right corner, 1 1/2 inch repaired tear in the background at the upper right. In the background to the right of the sitter there is a large area of discoloration visible under UV light. It is not clear if this is inpainting or if was caused by a selective cleaning of the varnish layer. There are small spots of inpainting at the subject's neck just under her right ear and in her lace collar that the lower right. Frame rub and a few spots of inpainting to address frame rub. Craquelure. Wax relined.
