Emilio Muller, a Holocaust Survivor hailing from Berlin, Germany, traversed through Brussels and various regions of Europe before establishing residency in Cuba, where he pursued a career as a diamond cutter, showcasing his expertise in the field. Forced to depart from Cuba due to political exigencies, Muller, alongside his wife Nina, relocated to New York. There, he gained prominence as a distinguished jewelry designer and manufacturer within the diamond district, crafting numerous innovative and trend-setting pieces. Among his notable creations stands the necklace featured in this auction, hailed as one of Muller's seminal masterpieces, crafted with heartfelt dedication for his wife, Nina.

Pearls: whitish to slightly creamy with rose and green orient, some pronounced bubbles, ridges and wrinkling, varied shapes, good luster.
Diamonds: H-I-VS, several SI.
Necklace width 1 1/2 to 1/2 inches.
Earrings: posts and clip-backs. Diameters 15/16 inch.
Mabe pearls: slightly creamy to creamy with rose and green orient, flat outer rim
