Possibly a study for a fresco in the Palazzo Ricci in the via Monserrato, Rome
Hinged to the mount at upper right and upper left with brown tape. Paper toned (less so around the edges covered by the mat). Two vertical tears running upward from the lower edge, the longer one repaired (4 inches long); the shorter approximaely 1 inch long. Fading. Minor staining.
