In two parts, the upper section with molded cornice above a pair of mullioned glazed doors opening to adjustable shelves, the projecting lower section fitted with a secretaire drawer opening to a suede-lined writing surface and pigeonholes above drawers, all over three cockbeaded long drawers and raised on splayed feet. Height 7 feet 3 inches (221 cm), width 41 1/4 inches (105.4 cm), depth 20 1/2 inches (52 cm).

Very good quality, good restored condition, lovely light color to satinwood, two glass D-shaped panels replaced to left upper part of of each door, old marks and scratches, lacking crossbanding to left side of projecting lower section and small section of line inlay below edge missing , slight bowing to secretaire drawer with slight tearing to veneer at right bottom of drawer front, minor perishing to surface of left top section, small loss to veneer of back left leg, upper section with mahogany back frame and panel construction, now silk-lined, lower section with pine frame and panel construction, backs of drawers with small areas of overpainting below nuts of handles.
