Each serpentine cresting carved with oak leaves, acorns and scrolls above a pierced backrest carved with a tasseled swag over an interlaced quatrefoil panel flanked by scrolls, the overupholstered floral needlework seat raised on molded square legs with rope twist corners and joined by a pierced fretwork medial stretcher; bearing inked accession numbers 80.26.4.1-4.4. Height 37 1/2 inches (95.3 cm), width 21 1/2 inches (54.6 cm), depth 17 inches (43.2 cm).

Good restored condition with previous restorations, old marks and scratches, associated needlework in need of cleaning, age cracks and reinforcements to backs of splats at top, scuffs to feet. #3 with replaced front rail, #1 with spliced back left leg above juncture of seat rail, plug to back of top rail securing top of backsplat and 1'' plug, #4 with repaired breaks to junctures of stiles and top with replacements, one side rail later, age crack and reinforcement to back of splat, #2 with later backsplat
