Cloth rubbed and lightly soiled, spine ends chipped, front hinge starting but sound, lacks free endpapers, spotted and toned, old ownership signature to title, sold as is.
Published in America immediately before the Civil War, this work influenced American nurses, to whom Nightingale acted as an adviser.
